Welcome to Surf The Waves

With the credit crunch, traffic jams, cost of living plus a myriad of distractions that exist in modern living, it is no wonder that more and more people suffer from anxiety, stress and burn out.
 
You may not be able to stop the waves, but it is possible to learn to surf.
 
“Insight” or “Mindfulness” meditation is not used to create a system of beliefs, it is however used to see things clearly. The techniques offered help find a deep sense of calm allowing the individual to see the true nature of the mind.

With continuous practice, it becomes possible to use the challenges of daily life to increase our capacity for mindful living, being at peace with what is or at the very least reducing its emotional affects.

The term Insight meditation (Samatha – Vipassana) are practices that develop calm through attention , and insight through reflection.
